"Date Night"

Tonight I have a date!! Yes that is right I have a date with the most gorgeous man in the world. Sweetest also I might add. I have a date with my husband!! I can not tell you how long it has been since we have actually had no kids for a whole 48 hours. I hope this doesn't sound horrible BUT.... I am soooo excited. I love my kids to death but I am so looking forward to spending some time with just me and the love of my life!!!!!!

I took the girls to his mom and dad's this morning and I went into work for a couple of hours then I went to the grocery store (alone) came home (alone) cleaned up the house (alone) no one behind me pulling things out as I was cleaning lol!

I don't know what we are gonna do tonight. I know we are going out to dinner then I told him we should just come home start a fire put a movie in and relax.. It will be so nice. No baths, books, nighttime snacks, bedtime!! (can you tell it has been awhile for me ! lol I think I am a little overexcited)!!

I hope noone thinks I am a terrible mom , my husband and I just need this soooooo bad!!

Tomorrow moring we are going to a marriage enrichment class heading by Dr. Dobson (on video) at our friends church, so I am pretty excited about that too!!

My Valentine Present

This was my other present for Valentines day!!!!!! I have wanted to order these blocks from Kindra (3guys a girl and a prim place) for a long time. Well my husband said hey go ahead and order those blocks for Valentines day!! He said he would have done it but he didn't know how to get ahold of her lol!! So I went ahead and ordered them!!!! I was sooooo excited! Kindra said she would try and get them here before Valentines day! Well I kept checking and there were no blocks. Kindra emailed to see if I got them and I said I did not. Well lo and behold I got them on Valentines day !!!! My husband had gotten them from the mail and did not tell me! lol I told him "you should have told me I told Kindra they had not come lol!! Well he was just trying to be sweet! I love them sooooo much! Thank you again Kindra!!!

Family Movie Night

We usually do Family Movie night every friday night at home with the kids favorite video but since this is Valentines Week we did something a little different. The kids did not have school today so last night we took them out to eat at Burger King and to the movies to see Madagascar 2. The kids thought that was great and we all had a good time. We had the whole movie theatre to ourselves. It was perfect!!

The candy cost more than the movie lol! The movie was only a $1.50 per person and the candy was $3.50 a box WHEW!

THis is our "Valentine Date Night" we wouldn't have it any other way!

I am new to blogging please be patient with me!!

Well here I go!! I am new to blogging so be very patient with me.! I have been inspired by so many people from their blogs. I just love to read up on all of them. So I decided I would try it out. I will start out with a little bit about me and my family.: My name is Carla and I have been happily married to the most wonderful man (Scott) we have two beautiful daughters Megan (9) and Marissa (4). Living each day with my husband and girls is the greatest gift I could of ever asked for. We are a Christian family and love God with all our hearts. I enjoy photography, scrapbooking, camping with my family, and primitive country decorating.

I am a licensed optician and work for Pearl Vision two days a week. I love being able to work part time so the rest of the time I can be with my girls. I love being able to join them in school activities.

I am really excited of all the new people and friends I will meet. I love to take pictures of my family. So hopefully I will get good enough on here to share with everyone lol!!!
