I hope everyone had a great Easter! We had a wonderful weekend. We ususally go to my mom's for Easter but this year she came to our house. We colored eggs and had an egg hunt, went to church, the kids had to hunt for the baskets from the Easter bunny and I made Easter dinner for the first time. It was very nice and very memorable. Spring has Sprung!!!!

Hello everyone!!! I think Spring was here today. It was 60 degrees!!!! Both the girls woke up this morning with fevers and sore throats. So they didn't get to enjoy the nice weather at all. Poor babies. They are cuddled up inside watching tv sucking on popsicles. I took advantage of this nice weather and got some much needed yard work done. While I was out I thought I would decorate for East on the front porch. I painted our front door red last week, not sure if I like it or not. So here are some pics of what I did. I also have a few things I put out in the house for spring not much but some. I think I sold all of my spring stuff in my garage sale last year along with everything else. I can't find anything lol

This is the new tv stand My sweet husband made me last week!! I hated to get rid of the oak entertainment center we had. Scottie had given it to me for our first Christmas after we were married!! One of my best friends took it so I guess I can visit it anytime I like lol!!! I like this one alot it gives us so much more room in the living room.

Oh Kindra, don't your blocks look great on here. I love them so much! Thanks again!!

"Date Night"

Tonight I have a date!! Yes that is right I have a date with the most gorgeous man in the world. Sweetest also I might add. I have a date with my husband!! I can not tell you how long it has been since we have actually had no kids for a whole 48 hours. I hope this doesn't sound horrible BUT.... I am soooo excited. I love my kids to death but I am so looking forward to spending some time with just me and the love of my life!!!!!!

I took the girls to his mom and dad's this morning and I went into work for a couple of hours then I went to the grocery store (alone) came home (alone) cleaned up the house (alone) no one behind me pulling things out as I was cleaning lol!

I don't know what we are gonna do tonight. I know we are going out to dinner then I told him we should just come home start a fire put a movie in and relax.. It will be so nice. No baths, books, nighttime snacks, bedtime!! (can you tell it has been awhile for me ! lol I think I am a little overexcited)!!

I hope noone thinks I am a terrible mom , my husband and I just need this soooooo bad!!

Tomorrow moring we are going to a marriage enrichment class heading by Dr. Dobson (on video) at our friends church, so I am pretty excited about that too!!

My Valentine Present

This was my other present for Valentines day!!!!!! I have wanted to order these blocks from Kindra (3guys a girl and a prim place) for a long time. Well my husband said hey go ahead and order those blocks for Valentines day!! He said he would have done it but he didn't know how to get ahold of her lol!! So I went ahead and ordered them!!!! I was sooooo excited! Kindra said she would try and get them here before Valentines day! Well I kept checking and there were no blocks. Kindra emailed to see if I got them and I said I did not. Well lo and behold I got them on Valentines day !!!! My husband had gotten them from the mail and did not tell me! lol I told him "you should have told me I told Kindra they had not come lol!! Well he was just trying to be sweet! I love them sooooo much! Thank you again Kindra!!!

Family Movie Night

We usually do Family Movie night every friday night at home with the kids favorite video but since this is Valentines Week we did something a little different. The kids did not have school today so last night we took them out to eat at Burger King and to the movies to see Madagascar 2. The kids thought that was great and we all had a good time. We had the whole movie theatre to ourselves. It was perfect!!

The candy cost more than the movie lol! The movie was only a $1.50 per person and the candy was $3.50 a box WHEW!

THis is our "Valentine Date Night" we wouldn't have it any other way!
